After 7 years of breeding Forest Cats, Inge is the first kitten of our breeding to stay here with us.  I felt it was important to watch the development of the kittens born in our cattery over the years.   I looked at type, temperament, and health while focusing on learning how the different lines I worked with matured.  One of our previous litters, the "A" litter, had a pedigree similar to this breeding therefore I was fairly confident that I would be pleased with this combination and indeed I am.  Inge's mother Hanne has everything I want to see in a forest cat so it only made sense to keep one of her daughters. 

Inge is a really sweet girl.  She is long and high on the legs; a very well balanced and proportionate girl.  She has a super straight profile and nice top.   Her chin could be a bit stronger but overall it's not bad.  She certainly has the look of her mother and although I really love her father, there is no mistaking her for Hanne's daughter, that's for sure!  When I look at her eyes I can also see her uncle Händel.  Inge is so wonderful to hold, her body and boning is really great, and what a super temperament!

Update May 2009

At one year old, Inge has developed into a really nice cat!  She is a large girl and has that awesome coat quality and texture like her mom.   She is very funny and mischievous, too!  

Inge was shown twice during the 2008-2009 show season and achieved her Double Grand Champion title in TICA.    Nice results for a young girl and considering she had to compete against Planet Funk!

We hope Inge will have her first litter of kittens in 2009 or 2010!

Update Oct 2009 - Inge was experiencing seizures in March of this year but has not had any problems since then.  Our vet cannot find any problems with Inge.  She will most likely be spayed.
