Nova has grown up to be a beautiful girl with a lovely forest cat look.   She is a strong built NFC with great boning, a muscular body, straight profile, nice ear size and placement, a long tail, great shaped eyes, and a lovely expression.   Nova has given us one very nice litter of kittens with Handel - the Beatles litter. :-)

Nova has screened equivocal for HCM two times now.  The main area of concern for the cardiologist is that the left ventricular free wall measurement is at the upper end of normal.  The doctor would like Nova screened one more time to see if there is any change or if this is just normal for Nova.   Once we have her screened and if all is ok, we will make a decision to either spay Nova or let her have one more litter of kittens.  She will be almost 5 years old at that time so, we'll just wait and see how everything works out.  

Update April 6, 2009:  Nova is now living with Leda Beth & Dave and her two kittens, Penny and Johnny.
